Space Adventures

June 17 – 21, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Playhouse

Half-Day Camp | Ages 3 – 5

Explore the cosmos! Escape the ordinary and blast off to new planets, making new friends with the monsters and aliens we’ll meet along the way. Learn acting improvisation and have fun through guided, creative play.

June 17 – 21, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Artsville in Madisonville

Full-Day Camp | Incoming grades 1 – 8

May the Force be with you this summer at theatre camp! Boldly go where no one has gone before to encounter cosmic aliens, discover new planets and explore galactic wonders. Performers learn theatre crafts, stage combat and improvisation in a camp that’s truly out of this world. Courses Include: Stage Combat, Theatre Crafts, Improvisation, Acting, Rehearsal and Performance

Adventure Movies

June 24 – 28, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Mason Community Center

Full-Day Camp | Incoming grades 1 – 8

Prepare for the adventure of a lifetime! Sail the high seas with Captain Jack Sparrow, explore the ancient world with Indiana Jones and save the world from the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park. Performers embark on perilous and exciting journeys while learning action movement and embodying the characters of these thrilling, cinematic adventures. Courses Include: Action Movement, Theatre Crafts, Improvisation, Acting, Rehearsal and Performance

July 8 – 12, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Playhouse

Full-Day Camp | Incoming grades 1 – 10

Your destiny awaits. Travel to the hidden world of W’kanda and the island nation of Themyscira, and assemble your allies as we face the threat of Thanos together! Performers learn stage combat, theatre crafts, improvisation and acting in this adventurous week of superheroes and villains. Courses Include: Stage Combat, Acting, Improvisation, Theatre Crafts, Rehearsal and Performance

Merrily We Sing-Along

July 15 – 19, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Playhouse

Half-Day Camp | Ages 3 – 5

Join our fun-filled chorus as we sing our favorite tunes and make new friends! Our music book is full of classic nursery rhymes, children’s movies and popular tunes. Help us belt out beloved songs and make music together.

Movie Musicals

July 15 – 19, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Pogo Play in Blue Ash

Full-Day Camp | Incoming grades 1 – 10

The dream that you wish will come true! Take a magic carpet ride, go under the sea and climb Pride Rock as we sing, dance and act our way through musical numbers from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Pinocchio and 101 Dalmatians. Performers learn the fundamentals of singing, dancing and acting as each camp group takes on one movie musical to focus on and share from at the end of the week. Courses Include: Singing, Dance, Improvisation, Acting, Rehearsal and Performance

Make Your Own Movie Camp

July 15 – 26, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Playhouse

Performance Academy | Incoming grades 6 – 12

Lights, camera, action! Learn the fundamentals of filmmaking and work as a crew to make a movie in this two-week performance camp. Campers are grouped into teams to write, film and edit their own short film. Lessons including screenwriting, storyboarding, rehearsal, acting for the camera, filming and editing. Camp will culminate in a mini-film festival that features each group’s short film. Artists will be organized by age for film groups. Space is limited to a first-come, first-served basis. Courses Include: Storyboarding, Screenwriting, Acting for the Camera, Rehearsal, Technical Elements of Filmmaking and Editing

Drama Geeks vs. Zombie Cheerleaders

July 15 – Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Playhouse

Performance Academy | Incoming grades 6 – 12

When the Drama Club notices that their biggest rivals, the Cheerleaders, have turned into zombies, they realize it’s up to them to save the rest of the school from their flesh-eating squad of undead enemies. The ragtag group of Drama Geeks must use their dramatic flair to slay their rivals before it’s too late. Performers take classes in acting, stage combat, theatre crafts and stage makeup, and they gain experience in blocking and rehearsal practices while putting together a full, non-musical production of Drama Geeks vs. Zombie Cheerleaders. Courses Include: Acting, Improvisation, Stage Combat, Theatre Crafts and Stage Makeup, and Rehearsal and Performance

Enter the fantastical world of Dr. Seuss in a musical extravaganza! Featuring beloved Seussian characters like Horton the Elephant and the Cat in the Hat, Seussical KIDS journeys from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus as Horton discovers a speck of dust that contains tiny people called the Whos. Over two weeks, performers will put together a full, musical production while developing their skills through classes in acting, singing, dance and improvisation. Courses Include: Acting, Improvisation, Singing, Dancing, Theatre Crafts, and Rehearsal and Performance

Half-Day Camp | Ages 3 – 5

Travel to a far-off kingdom filled with enchanting adventures! Fight off dragons, rescue villagers and conjure up some magic with Merlin. Create your own characters and build a fantastical journey together as we create our own story and performance.

Full-Day Camp | Incoming grades 1 – 10

Grab onto the portkey with the Playhouse and immerse yourself in the world of witchcraft and wizardry! Open Newt Scamander’s suitcase that’s full of fantastical creatures, or dare to explore the Forbidden Forest in this extraordinary week full of magic and mayhem. Performers take lessons in stage combat, theatre crafts, improvisation and more. Courses Include: Stage Combat, Theatre Crafts, Improvisation, Acting, Rehearsal and Performance

HALF DAY! Seussical KIDS: Little Whos

The Little Whos will join the cast of Seussical KIDS Performance Academy during the second week of rehearsal, and performers will be integrated into a full, musical production while developing their skills through classes in acting, singing, dancing and improvisation. The Little Whos will join the company of Seussical KIDS for group numbers at the beginning and end of the show. Campers will create characters as they learn songs and dances from the show. Courses Include: Singing, Dancing, Improvisation, Theatre Crafts, Rehearsal and Performance
