Directions & Parking

Important traffic alert for your Playhouse performances this fall

The City of Cincinnati has begun a months-long project to stabilize the slope and repair the sidewalk on Art Museum Drive leading up from Eden Park Drive. With this work, there are currently some road closures on the approach to the Playhouse from Eden Park Drive that will last into December. Please refer to the map for information on the closures and alternate routes and add extra time for your arrival to the Playhouse. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Please call the Box Office at (513) 421-3888 with any questions.

Parking

Convenient parking is available in the Playhouse garage and can be purchased in advance by calling the Box Office at 513-421-3888 or as an add-on when you purchase tickets online. This is strongly recommended as parking may be sold out on the day of the show, and parking space is extremely limited in Mt. Adams. Advanced garage parking costs $15, except in December when it is $20. Drive-up garage parking is $20 (if available).

If you prefer to find free parking on surrounding streets, please allow plenty of extra time. Very limited free parking is available (where marked) on streets surrounding the Playhouse. Eden Park officially closes at 10 p.m. As a grace period to the Playhouse and its patrons, the police will not ticket vehicles until one half-hour following the end of a performance. The Playhouse assumes no responsibility for anyone receiving a ticket for illegal parking. We also remind you to lock your car and refrain from leaving any valuables visible inside your vehicle.

Coach and Bus Arrival

The Playhouse cannot accommodate coach or bus parking on site. Coaches must arrive early to secure parking in Eden Park. School buses arriving for student matinees should park on the Playhouse’s lower circle drive.

Directions

962 Mt. Adams Circle, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45202
The Playhouse is conveniently located in Eden Park on the edge of Mt. Adams, just minutes from downtown Cincinnati. We are easily accessible from both I-71 and I-75, as well as Columbia Parkway. Detailed directions can be found by scrolling below.

Take I-71 South until the exit for Gilbert Avenue/Reading Road. Follow the exit for Reading Road and turn left onto Elsinore Place. Head straight across Gilbert Avenue and make a slight right to stay on Elsinore Ave heading uphill, then a slight left onto Wareham Dr to keep going uphill. Make a final right turn onto Mt Adams Cir to continue uphill. Follow it until you can turn left at your destination.
Take Columbia Parkway west along the Ohio River to Kemper Lane (the next light after the Taft/Torrence light). Turn right onto Kemper Lane and go uphill until the first street on the left, which is Luray. Turn left onto Luray and go to the stop sign where it merges onto Victory Parkway. Stay on the parkway into Eden Park. Turn left onto Martin Dr, just past the Krohn Conservatory. Follow Martin Dr down the hill and make the first right onto Parkside Pl uphill. Follow Parkside up the hill where it dead-ends into Louden. Go left on Louden and, at the first stop sign, turn right onto Paradrome. Go one short block on Paradrome and, at the stop sign, take a hairpin turn to the right, which will put you on our driveway. Proceed to the top of the hill.
Traveling on Ft. Washington Way, follow the signs for Columbia Parkway (US 50 East). Just past the exit for I-471, take the Martin Drive exit on the right from Columbia Parkway (which is also marked Mt. Adams and Eden Park; be careful because it sneaks up on you). Bear right again at the end of the exit onto Martin Drive and go to the second street on the left, Parkside Place, and turn left. Follow Parkside up the steep hill where it dead-ends into Louden. Go left on Louden and, at the first stop sign, turn right onto Paradrome. Go one short block on Paradrome, and, at the stop sign, take a hairpin turn to the right, which will put you on our driveway. Proceed to the top of the hill.
Take I-75 across the Ohio River and follow the signs for I-71 when the interstate forks. This puts you on Ft. Washington Way. Then see the directions from the west.

Or, if taking I-471 from Kentucky: Take 471 across the Ohio River, and stay in the right-hand lane to the Columbia Parkway exit. Go up the steep hill onto Columbia Parkway, but immediately exit right onto Martin Drive (be careful because it sneaks up on you). Go to the second street on the left, Parkside Place, and turn left.
Take Central Parkway east to Reading Road (Central Parkway turns into Reading Road). Stay in the right-hand lane, pass Staples on your right and turn right onto Elsinore Avenue.

Or, take Seventh Street East (it is one way), which turns into Gilbert Avenue just past the Greyhound bus station. Make a right on Elsinore Ave heading uphill, then make a slight left to stay uphill on Wareham Dr. Finally, turn right onto Mt Adams Cir and continue uphill until you reach the Playhouse.
