Dedicated dancers ages 5-19, will entertain the audience in Moe and Jack's Place — The Rouse Theater. This show features rising young stars and choreographers who will display performance pieces to amuse, energize, and inspire you. A portion of the proceeds from this very special evening will benefit 'Child Life Disaster Relief', CLDR is an organization committed to helping children cope with emotional stress after traumatic events and natural disasters. From September – June, Arts and Culture Incubator events and performances at the Playhouse are often open to the public and span a wide range of topics and styles. Our group of Resident Artists is made up of local theatre-makers. The Incubator Partners are small, non-profit cultural organizations based in our community.
Among the more than 80 world premieres produced since the Playhouse’s founding in 1960 are plays that have been commissioned. Since 2006, our mission to develop new stories and contribute to the American theatre canon has expanded thanks to the Jerome Fey Endowment for New Plays. Additionally, the Playhouse invites nationally recognized playwrights the opportunity to workshop or present a staged reading of a work in progress.
Theatres and special event spaces in the Playhouse are available to rent for a variety of performances, receptions, and meetings.
The content of these presentations represents the views and opinions of the partner organization or artist and does not necessarily represent the views and opinions of Playhouse in the Park.
