Winter Acting Classes
Our acting classes are designed to build confidence, strengthen communication skills and develop a sense of ensemble and community. Programs for young people ages 3 to 14 focus on individual and collective skill development in a fun and supportive environment. Winter acting classes are located at the Playhouse, Mason Community Center, Blue Ash Recreation Center and Evendale Cultural Arts Center

Our adult enrichment workshops offer an opportunity to enhance your theatrical experience and explore a new skill set. All workshops cost $50 per person and take place at the Playhouse.

Personal Storytelling
Saturday, Jan. 25 | 10 a.m. to noon
Coinciding with our world premiere production of americUS, this class will teach you how to write your own story and perform it in front of others. Learn the essentials of oral storytelling that will engage listeners, initiate discussion and create a sense of community. Share your story — we’d love to hear it!

Playwriting
Saturday, March 7 | 10 a.m. to noon
Do you have a play stuck in your head? Learn how to bring it to life in this introductory playwriting course! Breathe life into your characters, develop a dynamic plot, and share your work with like-minded creatives, all while receiving invaluable help from an industry professional. You just might have a hit!

Physical Comedy
Saturday, April 18 | 10 a.m. to noon
Join us for some slapstick foolishness and creative play as we explore the hilarious world of physical comedy! Designed for both performers and non-performers, we’ll will cover fun ways to put a smile on someone’s face using our most basic tool: the body. Learn the ins and outs of comedic storytelling under the direction of a theatre professional.

A Taste of Acting
Saturday, May 16 | 10 a.m. to noon
Have you always wanted to try your hand at acting but haven’t been sure where to start? Take the first steps of your acting journey in this fun and interactive workshop. Learn performance basics in a fun and encouraging space while being taught by an industry professional. Maybe we’ll see you on a Playhouse stage one day!
