Please Note: From September to June, Playhouse spaces are generally only available during daytime hours and Monday evenings due to our performance schedule. Rental prices are based on a maximum eight-hour rental (including set-up) and don't include costs associated with food, beverages or audio-visual equipment. Room combination rates are available. Nonprofit organizations receive a 10 percent discount. Prices subject to change. Capacities may vary depending on room set-up.

ROOM WITH A VIEW

The Room With a View gets its name from its breathtaking panorama of the Cincinnati skyline. The space is perfect for intimate meetings or pre-show receptions.

ROSENTHAL PLAZA

Capacity: 125 (Meeting); 285 (Reception)
Price: $850

The Rosenthal Plaza is the Playhouse's largest public space and features the theatre's main bar, restrooms and a small stage area.

CORBETT REHEARSAL HALL

Capacity: 45 (Meeting); 90 (Reception)
Price: $500

The Corbett Rehearsal Hall offers maximum flexibility as a blank canvas for your next meeting.

THE KAPLAN LOBBY

Capacity: 50 (Meeting); 70 (Reception)
Price: $650

The Kaplan Lobby is adjacent to the Thompson Shelterhouse. Among its unique features is its theatre mural, created for the Playhouse by renowned artist C.F. Payne.

THE KAPLAN ALCOVE

Capacity: 20 (Meeting/Reception)

Tucked behind the Kaplan Lobby, the Kaplan Alcove is a charming option for smaller, private events.

OVERLOOK MEZZANINE

Capacity: 30 (Meeting); 50 (Reception)
Price: $250

As its name suggests, the Overlook Mezzanine overlooks the Playhouse's Marx Theatre lobby and Rosenthal Plaza. The space is easily sectioned off for intimate meetings or pre-show receptions.

MARX THEATRE

Capacity: 626 (Meeting)
Price: $1,200 (additional costs may be incurred based on your needs when renting the Marx Theatre)

The Marx Theatre is the larger of the Playhouse's two performing spaces.

Note: Due to the Playhouse's own calendar of performances, the Marx Theatre has limited to no availability.

ROSENTHAL SHELTERHOUSE THEATRE

Capacity: 225 (Meeting)
Price: $900 (additional costs may be incurred based on your needs when renting the Shelterhouse)

The Thompson Shelterhouse is the original home of the Cincinnati Playhouse and the smaller of our two performing spaces.

Note: Due to the Playhouse's own calendar of performances, the Rosenthal Shelterhouse has very limited availability.
