Matthew is thrilled to be making his Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park debut. Most recently, he appeared as Flounder in The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn Center for the Arts. Other regional credits include The Sound of Music and Disney’s When You Wish (Tuacahn); Newsies (Maine State Music Theatre and The Fulton Theatre); Singin' in the Rain (Maine State Music Theatre); The Music Man (Lexington Theatre Company); 9 to 5, The Producers, My Fair Lady and Footloose (Interlakes Summer Theatre); and Into the Woods (Theatre Workshop of Nantucket). Other credits include the 2018 national tour of Elf The Musical. His film credits include John Patrick Shanley’s Doubt. Matthew received a BFA in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College where he appeared in The Laramie Project, A Chorus Line, and Kiss Me, Kate. Proud member of AEA. Would not be here without the support and encouragement of my incredible family, friends, Lyndy, Patrick, Jen, my team at Avalon, everyone at the Playhouse and Stephanie Klapper Casting. “What I Did For Love,” indeed. For Jordan, I love you. You can follow Matthew on social media @matthewmarvin and visit matthewmarvin.com.
