The show features hits from the King Records catalog – including "Fever," "My Love Is," "Shakin'" and, of course, "Need Your Love So Bad." An extraordinary portrait of one of the most talented, influential and underrated R&B singers of all time.

Ian is a collaborative pianist, coach and conductor originally from Los Angeles, California. He is currently getting his master's degree at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where he recently served as the music director for Xanadu. Before returning to grad school he lived and worked in New York City for many years, working on productions, including Orpheus in the Underworld (Juilliard), Beardo (Pipeline Theatre), Sweeney Todd (Barrow Street) and Carousel (New York Philharmonic). Ian earned his BA from Oberlin College and is thrilled to be doing his first show at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park!
