Michael Baxter

Michael is proud to be a part of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Michael is the Resident Choreographer of The MUNY in St. Louis, MO. In New York, Michael has served as Assistant Choreographer of Clinton The Musical Off-Broadway at New World Stages. Amy Blackman

Amy most recently appeared as Rose Stopnick Gellman in Caroline, Or Change at Tantrum Theater. Amy performed in The Old Globe’s Shakespeare Festival as Maria in Love’s Labour’s Lost and as a Witch in Macbeth. Other regional credits include The Comedy of Errors and Twelfth Night at The Old Globe and Titanic, Singin’ in the Rain, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast and Kiss Me, Kate at The Muny. Ka-Ling Cheung

Ka-Ling appeared in the Broadway tour of War Horse, the national tour of The King and I with Stephanie Powers and internationally in Wild Swans at Young Vic in the U.K. Regional credits include American Conservatory Theater, American Repertory Theater, Long Wharf Theatre, Pittsburgh Public, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, San Jose Repertory Theatre, Portland Center Stage, Artists Repertory Theater, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Weston Playhouse and LA Women’s Shakespeare Company. Kevin Cutts

Kevin returns to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park having appeared in Over the Tavern (2011) and Double Indemnity (2013). Regional credits include Hartford TheatreWorks, Virginia Stage Company, Penguin Repertory Company, Portland Stage Company, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Geva Theatre Center and Florida Studio Theater. Television credits include Law & Order, The Blacklist, The Jim Gaffigan Show, 40 North and One Bad Move.

Dale Hodges

Dale returns to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park having recently appeared in To Kill a Mockingbird (2016). Since joining Actors’ Equity in 1974, Dale has worked in New York and many theatres around the country. She was in the Broadway productions of Equus and Benefactors, the off-Broadway productions of Top Girls and A Woman in Mind, and she toured with Anne Jackson and Eli Wallach in Ayckbourn’s Absent Friends. In Cincinnati, where she now lives, Dale’s credits include Vivian Bearing in Wit, The Fool in King Lear, Mary Tyrone in Long Day’s Journey Into Night, Big Edie in Grey Gardens, Violet in August: Osage County, Volumnia in Coriolanus and 23 seasons of A Christmas Carol. Last April Dale played Ethel Thayer in On Golden Pond at the Human Race Theatre in Dayton and in July she was Martha Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace at Peterborough Players in New Hampshire. In 2014 she was nominated by the Cincinnati Playhouse as a Lunt Fontanne Fellow at Ten Chimneys in Wisconsin.

Jimmy Kieffer

Jimmy appeared as Alf in the off-Broadway production of Peter and the Starcatcher. Regional credits include South Pacific (Guthrie Theater); A Servant to Two Masters (Pittsburgh Public Theater); Victor/Victoria (Theatre Under the Stars); ...Poe and The Rivals (Baltimore Center Stage); The Merry Wives of Windsor (Shakespeare Theatre Co.); Elf and Avenue Q (Arkansas Repertory Theatre); Big River, As You Like It, Opus, All My Sons, Pride and Prejudice, Shipwrecked!, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Little Prince and Pericles (PlayMakers Repertory Company); Amadeus and Macbeth (Chautauqua Theater Company); and A Christmas Carol, Livin’ in the Garden and To Kill a Mockingbird (Alliance Theatre). Laiona Michelle

Laiona appeared as Nanna in the Broadway production of Amazing Grace as well as in the first national tour of The Book of Mormon. Laiona has performed both regionally and internationally. Her television and film credits include Crashing, Sneaky Pete, The Blacklist, Law & Order: CI and SVU, All My Children and Lift. She was the recipient of the NAACP Award for Constant Star and was nominated for the Helen Hayes Award for 2005 Best Lead Actress in Yellowman at Arena Stage. Dathan B. Williams

Dathan returns to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park having appeared in The Secret Garden (2015). He has appeared in the original Broadway cast of Show Boat (Stevedore/Busker). Off-Broadway credits include Carnegie Hall: Show Boat in Concert (Vocal Ensemble); The Pearl Theater Company: Nathan The Wise (Saladin); Second Stage: Buffalo Gal (James); and TWAS Theatre Company/National Black Theater: Medea (Jason), among others. He has appeared in the national tour of Show Boat (Stevedore/Busker) and internationally at The Stratford Festival (eight shows between the 1990 and 1991 seasons). Kathleen Wise

Kathleen returns to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park having recently appeared in A Christmas Carol (2016).  Her theatre credits include Grounded (Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati), Dancing Lessons (Penguin Repertory Company), Talley’s Folly (Merrimack Repertory Theatre), Julius Caesar (Acting Company/Guthrie Theater), Vinegar Tom, Pity in History (Potomac Theatre Project/NYC), The Diary of Anne Frank (Pioneer Theatre Company/Indiana Repertory Theatre), Murder on the Nile (Dorset Theater Festival) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum). She has played leading roles in the independent feature films Ironwood, Historias del Canal, Antidote and 4 Nights in the Hamptons. Other film and television credits include Hulu’s The Path, Unforgettable, She’s Lost Control, SPLiT, Palimpsest (Sundance 2013) and the web series Wildcats! and F to 7th. She wrote and directed the short film, Sanctuary, that recently premiered at the 2017 Montana Film Festival. Marcia Milgrom Dodge

Marcia returns to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park having directed and choreographed The Secret Garden (2015) and Cabaret (2013). Her celebrated direction and choreography of revivals, new musicals and plays has been seen throughout the United States, Canada, Great Britain, South Korea, Denmark and the Middle East. Broadway credits include the acclaimed Kennedy Center production of Ragtime (2010 Tony Award nomination and winner of the Helen Hayes Award). Tours include Curious George and Seussical (Theatreworks USA) and Ragtime (Phoenix Entertainment). New York credits include Cookin’ (Minetta Lane), Venus Flytrap (Active Theater), Radio Gals (Houseman), the original production of Maltby and Shire’s Closer Than Ever and William Finn’s Romance in Hard Times (The Public Theater). She has directed at The Muny (The Little Mermaid, Young Frankenstein, Buddy and The Addams Family), Drury Lane Theatre in Illinois, Pioneer Theatre, Ford’s Theatre, The Kennedy Center, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Center Stage, Denver Center, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Glimmerglass Festival, Bay Street Theatre, Music Circus, Goodman Theatre, Lyric Stage, Goodspeed, Huntington Theatre and Arena Stage. Narelle Sissons

Narelle’s Broadway credits include All My Sons (Roundabout Theatre Company). Off-Broadway work includes How I Learned to Drive, Stop Kiss, In The Blood, Kit Marlowe, Dutch Heart of Man and Julius Caesar (Delacorte Theatre) at The Public Theater. She has designed many productions for Classic Stage Company, Playwrights Horizons, Primary Stages, Epic Theatre Centre, New York Theatre Workshop, The Acting Company and Soho Repertory Theatre, among others. Narelle has designed Our Lady of 121st Street, Jesus Hopped the A Train (New York and London productions) and The Little Flower of East Orange (directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman) for LAByrinth Theater Company. She also designed Mabou Mines DollHouse for St. Ann’s Warehouse and Spoleto as well as the world tour (running since 2006). International credits include David Hare’s version of Galileo (Theatre Festival Baltic House, St. Petersburg, Russia) and The Syringa Tree (Vienna, Austria and Frankfurt, Germany). Opera credits include Der Ferne Klang (Bard SummerScape). Narelle is a Fulbright Specialist and has received Drama Desk and American Theatre Wing nominations, two Helen Hayes Awards nominations, a Garland Award and a Leon Rabin Award. She teaches Scenography at Carnegie Mellon University and was an exhibitor at the Prague Quadrennial in 2007 and 2011.

Leon Wiebers

Leon returns to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park having designed The Secret Garden (2015). He was a Fulbright Senior Scholar to South Korea. Recent credits: dance pieces for BodyTraffic at the Hollywood Bowl; Empire for LaMirada Center for the Performing Arts; The Music Man for Glimmerglass Festival and the Royal Opera in Oman; and The King and I - Maltz Jupiter Theatre, all directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge; Il Trovatore at Sacramento Opera.  His designs for Music Circus include A Chorus Line; The Wizard of Oz; Show Boat; Anything Goes; I Do, I Do; Spamalot!; Dirty Rotten Scoundrels; 42nd Street; My Fair Lady; Gypsy; Guys and Dolls; Kiss Me, Kate; Jekyll and Hyde; Aida; A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; Grease; and West Side Story. Regional credits: Il Barbiere di Siviglia - San Francisco Opera Center, Cymbeline at Georgia Shakespeare Festival, Il Trovatore - English National Opera, El Niño - Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, Cosi Fan Tutti for Sacramento Opera, Living Pictures for the Getty Museum and Antigone for Portland Center Stage. Awards include the Carbonelle Award, Fulbright Research Grant to Korea, LA Weekly and LA Ovation. Matthew Richards

Matthew returns to the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, having most recently designed The Secret Garden (2015). He has designed the Broadway production of Ann, as well as off-Broadway productions of The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey and The Curvy Widow at Westside Arts; The Killer, Tamburlaine and Measure for Measure at Theatre for a New Audience. Off-Broadway credits also include productions at Atlantic Theater Company; B.A.M.; MCC Theater; Playwrights Horizons; Play Company; Primary Stages; Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre and Second Stage. Brooke is pleased to return for her third season with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Regional theatre credits include Shakespeare in Love and five seasons of A Christmas Carol (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park), Hair: Retrospection, Stillwater, The Whipping Man, August: Osage County and Cabaret (production stage manager, Kansas City Repertory Theatre); Peter and the Starcatcher and Richard II (Utah Shakespeare Festival); Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Center Stage in Baltimore); and The Drowsy Chaperone, Is He Dead? and Harry the Great (Creede Repertory Theatre). Assistant stage management credits include Our Town, A Flea in Her Ear, Clay, Jitney and Love, Janis (Kansas City Repertory Theatre); and work at Starlight Theatre, Stages St. Louis and Heart of America Shakespeare Festival. Andrea L. Shell

Andrea is excited to be celebrating her 18th season with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, having worked on more than 85 productions. A highlight of every season for her is A Christmas Carol. Favorite Playhouse credits include Mr. Joy, Erma Bombeck: Disgraced; Bad Dates; The Revolutionists; Peter and the Starcatcher; I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti; The North Pool; Pride and Prejudice; The Trip to Bountiful; Merrily We Roll Along; As You Like It; Behind the Eye; The Understudy; Blackbird; Durango; Around the World in 80 Days; Altar Boyz; Smoke on the Mountain Homecoming; Reckless; Ace; The Clean House; A Picasso; One; Abracadabra (2002-2007); The Bible … (abridged); and Dark Paradise. Regionally, she stage managed The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead (Dallas Theater Center), Ace (The Old Globe), Lost Prospect (Ingenuity Festival of Cleveland), A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Nutcracker (Cincinnati Ballet) and Snow White and Beauty and the Beast (Cincinnati Ballet’s Otto M. Budig Academy). She also served as the production stage manager for the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre. Andrea received her BA from East Tennessee State University.
