An extraordinary portrait of one of the most talented, influential and underrated R&B singers of all time.

Joel is a Cincinnati native and performs regularly as a freelance guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. He first performed at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park in 2011 and has enjoyed being a part of many shows since. Productions include Beehive: The 60s Musical; Always, Patsy Cline; Low Down Dirty Blues; Little Shop of Horrors; and Once on this Island. Joel attended the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music as a Jazz Studies major and loves to perform music across many genres. Joel has toured nationally and works with many regional groups and theatre companies. Outside of performing, Joel is a co-owner of the Cincinnati Music Academy where he and more than 40 independent instructors give music lessons.
