Going shopping, baking cakes, sitting in trees and jumping on beds! In this zany play, told in cumulative verse, five silly simian siblings insist on doing things their own way. Monkey mayhem ensues, despite their mama’s warnings. Based on the bestselling books by Eileen Christelow, this day-in-the-life of the monkey family incorporates Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, Five Little Monkeys Bake a Birthday Cake, Five Little Monkeys Sitting in a Tree and Five Little Monkeys Go Shopping

Recommended for ages 3 and up.

James graduated from the University of Louisville with a BS in Theatre Arts. James was seen at the 2017 Kentucky Shakespeare Festival in Julius Caesar (Octavius Caesar/Trebonius), Richard II (Bagot/Groom) and Much Ado About Nothing (Balthasar/Watch). James also performed in the 2017 National Black Theatre Festival in the show Baltimore (Bryant), which was selected from the University of Louisville's 2016-17 season. James was recently seen in the Playhouse productions including Off the Grid's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea at the Newport Aquarium, Off the Hill's Cyrano and A Christmas Carol on the Marx Theatre stage. He has previously worked with the Jewish Community Center's touring children's theatre troupe, CenterStage: Acting Out in Louisville, performing in Tevye & His Daughters (Mottel), Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins (Hershel) and Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical.
