Costume Design

Students will about what a costume designer does, and they’ll learn to use color, texture, silhouette and proportion to design costumes. Using materials found at home, they’ll learn to create unique character costumes like a superhero, robot, dragonfly and more.

Mask Making

Engage your students in a four-day workshop on the creative art of mask making. They will learn how to make five different styles of masks: animals, Mardi Gras, superhero, robot, and a duck made from a hat!

Puppet Making

Puppets come in many styles and colors, and the ones in this class are no different! Students will spend five sessions creating a variety of puppets from household and crafting materials. Shadow puppets, finger puppets, handkerchief puppets, sock puppets and marionettes will all be explored in this interactive, creative class.

Theatre Makeup

Students will step into the world of character design through makeup in this five-session class. Zombies, clowns, animals and more will make appearances as make-up design techniques are taught for each one. Put on a different perspective with this fun, creative class.

Pop Musical Theatre Singing

In this five-session workshop, students will explore the basic tools of the voice that every performer needs for healthy vocal production. Focusing on contemporary musical theatre repertoire, students will learn skills in Breath and Enunciation, among others, and will cover the vocal riffs and runs popular in this style of musical theatre.

Classical Musical Theatre Singing

Students will spend five sessions investigating the vocal tools needed for healthy singing while learning to perform a collection of classic musical theatre songs. This series of classes will cover the tools of Ear Training, Performance Techniques and Execution of Skills, among others.

Contemporary Musical Theatre Dance

Contemporary Musical Theatre Dance encompasses dances seen in musicals produced since the 1990s, which incorporate more pop, rock and hip-hop influences. Students will learn these styles and various dance combinations in this five-session workshop.

Classical Musical Theatre Dance

Students will dive into Classical Musical Theatre Dance and learn new dance combinations in the style of the Golden Age of Musicals. Technique will be rooted heavily in ballet, tap and jazz.
