Psacoya Guinn

Psacoya is a native of Alabama and graduate of Troy University with a BA in Theatre. Her favorite credits include Intimate Apparel (Mayme), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena) and The Shape of Things (Evelyn). When she is not performing, she enjoys working as a teaching artist to bring theatre to elementary students. Psacoya is extremely excited to join the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park family! She thanks her parents, friends and mentors for their support. Psalms 23.

Hannah Jones

Ms. Jones earned her BFA in theatre performance and dance at the University of Wyoming and has made it full-circle back to her home city of Cincinnati. She was named Best Partner in the Region in 2014 (Pacific Northwest) and has performed nationally at the Kennedy Center as a partner for the Irene Ryan Scholarship (Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival) in 2015. Some of her favorite roles include Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Paul O’Mahoney, Cassandra in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike and Blitzen in The Reindeer Monologues.

Robert Carlton Stimmel

Robert is thrilled to be returning to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Recent performance credits include works at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park (2015-16 Bruce E. Coyle Acting Intern: A Christmas Carol, To Kill a Mockingbird, Antigone, Rikki Tikki Tavi), Short North Stage (The Fantasticks, The Normal Heart), Alliance Theatre (Eavesdropping), Queen City Theater (Typhoid Mary) and Know Theatre (Serials & Serials: Bingewatch). Next, he will be performing in the world premiere of Earworm at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Offstage, he works as a director, technical director, lighting and sound designer, fight choreographer and much more.

Richard Buchanan

Richard is pleased to return to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park after spending the 2016-17 season as a member of the Bruce E. Coyle Acting Intern Company. His Playhouse credits include Sam/Ensemble in Shakespeare in Love, The Sheriff in Robin Hood; Peter and Others in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe; Robie Williams in #SelfieThePlay and Ensemble in Jane Eyre. He also performed as the understudy for Mr. Sosser in A Christmas Carol. Professional credits include Jake in Slipping and the German Student in Soldier’s Dreams (Iron Crow Theatre). Additional professional credits include Faust: Sweet Seduction (Ensemble Aimée Rose in Frankfurt, Germany) and new play development in the GUMBO Festival and WordBRIDGE Playwrights Laboratory (Generous Company). He received his MFA from the Professional Actor Training Program at Purdue University and his BS in Theatre from Towson University. He thanks his wife Kelsie and the rest of his family for their steadfast support.

Daunielle Rasmussen

Ms. Rasmussen is a passionate arts educator, community artist and director of theatre for young audiences. During her tenure as director of education with Marin Theatre Company, she revitalized and restructured the department to increase service to Marin County youth, expanding the reach from 3,000 children and families per year to more than 8,000. She oversaw the expansion of Theatre for Young Audiences programming from one production per year to five by brokering long-term partnerships with nine local schools for subsidized in-school residencies. Additionally, she has served as the community engagement manager and artistic administrator at California Shakespeare Theater; the associate artistic director and resident choreographer at Custom Made Theater Company; and a performer/educator and booking coordinator for Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre Programs. As a director, Ms. Rasmussen has most recently directed Around the World in 80 Days, Rapunzel and Disney’s Aladdin, Jr. for Marin Theatre Company. She won an award from the San Francisco Bay Area Critic’s Circle for Movement in Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl, produced by Custom Made Theater Company. Ms. Rasmussen holds a BA in theatre arts, emphasis in acting, from California State University, Stanislaus, and an MFA in creative inquiry, interdisciplinary arts, from California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.

Kenton Brett

Mr. Brett is a Cincinnati-based scenic artist, illustrator, designer and animator. Heavily influenced by collectibles, children’s toys and puppetry, his art embodies qualities shared by all: multi-functional, poseable, humorous and easily repurposed to create new expressions. The spirit of play is further reinforced through public venues where the audience can directly interact and experience the work; this translates particularly well in theatrical performances and art installations. Stylistically, the work emphasizes a sophistication of line quality with psychedelic motifs that echo graphic designs from the 1960s creating a distinct visual buzz through repeated lines, shapes and patterns. In some ways Mr. Brett will never stop being a big kid and enjoys playing board games, bike riding and long walks with his wife and two dogs.

David Arevalo

David is thrilled to be making his Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park design premiere with Pinocchio. His most recent credit was as the Associate Costume Designer for Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra's 2017 production of Pelléas et Mélisande. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin who moved to the Queen City in 2008 to build costumes for the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music. He currently splits his time between freelancing out of his home studio in East Price Hill, traveling to work as a Draper/Tailor in regional theatres across the country, and spending his summers at the Santa Fe Opera.

Trey Tatum

Mr. Tatum is a displaced hick from the Alabama Gulf Coast. He writes plays and music about the dirty, magical underbelly of this world. Recent credits include Ken Ham's Journey to the Center of the Earth (Know Theatre of Cincinnati), Slut Shaming (Xavier University), Andy’s House of [BLANK] (written with drinking-buddy Paul Strickland), The Midnight Express (2016 CincyFringe), Shelter (2015 CincyFringe with Pones, Inc.), Mars vs. the Atom (Know Theatre) and The Complete Tom parts one through four with his theatre company, Queen City Flash. Other projects include a residency at Robert Wilson’s The Watermill Center, a public presentation at Lincoln Center, inclusion in Ars Nova’s ANT Fest, the Samuel French off-off-Broadway Festival and the 2013 Women’s Center Stage Festival at The Culture Project. He is a Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive alumnus and the former programming director for The Tank in Midtown Manhattan. Mr. Tatum makes mischief and theatre with his wife, director Bridget Leak. Tracy Hoida

This is Ms. Hoida’s fifth season at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. She has been involved in various aspects of theatre since she was 12 years old. Ms. Hoida received a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 2011 with a focus in stage management. She is an Equity Membership Candidate and has worked across the country at many summer stock and regional theatres, including Goodspeed Musicals, Florida Repertory Theatre and Shakespeare & Company, among others. This season Ms. Hoida is returning to the Education Department as an Education Associate in charge of productions and logistics for all education programming and the Acting Internship Program. Among other duties, she is in charge of the production aspects and tour management of each Off the Hill show. Above all else, Ms. Hoida loves watching a production go from a simple idea to a fully staged creation and being a driving force of that process.
