Karmine is so excited to be a part of the In the Heights family, especially to once again share the stage with her sister Yassmin, “what a gift.” Broadway credits include On Your Feet (u/s Gloria Fajardo, Consuelo) and Rent (Mimi), and appeared in the national tour of On Your Feet (Ensemble, Gloria Fajardo). Tony Chiroldes

Tony is an original Broadway cast member of In the Heights and Paul Simon’s The Capeman. International and regional credits include Paris’ Chatelet Theatre (Carmen la cubana); Arena Stage (Señor Discretion Himself); Pittsburgh’s City Theatre (Elemeno Pea); and Geva Theatre Center (In the Heights). UJ Mangune

A proud artist and activist of color from Seattle, UJ is honored to share such an important American story with this talented cast. A self-taught hip-hop dancer as an outlet after moving to a rural town for high school, UJ has since been featured by Amazon, T-Mobile, Macklemore and The Filipino Channel (Wowowee). He has premiered multiple musicals at The 5th Avenue Theatre (Secondhand Lions, Paint Your Wagon) and was most recently seen as Romeo in Village Theatre’s Newsies. Throughout his career, UJ has prioritized providing youth and youth of color a voice in their stories through his choreography at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE and touring educational musicals to schools. Eddie Martin Morales

Eddie is ecstatic to be making his Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park debut in his very first production of In the Heights! Eddie is an alum of the New World School of the Arts Conservatory where he received a BFA in Music Theater. Eddie, a south Florida native, was last seen as Abe in the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s production of Disgraced. Some of his other credits include Into the Woods (Baker/New World School of the Arts); Gypsy and Sweet Charity (Ensemble/Broward Stage Door Theatre); and Curtains (Ensemble/Wick Theatre). Rána Roman

Rána is a Milwaukee native and proud graduate of the Milwaukee High School of the Arts. She is so grateful to make her Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park debut in her favorite musical of all time. Previously, Rána has been seen in Our Town (Mrs. Webb) and A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Cratchit) at Milwaukee Repertory Theater. She has also been recently featured at Madison’s Forward Theater in Exit Strategy (Jania) and at Skylight Music Theatre in Hot Mikado (Yum-Yum). Gabriela M. Soto

Gabriela is a native from Puerto Rico and relocated to the United States at the age of 14. She graduated from the Ailey School Certificate Program. Gabriela has performed works by William Forsythe, Alvin Ailey, Lar Lubovitch, Matthew Rushing, Elisa Monte, Robert Battle, Francesca Harper and Jae Man Joo. William Dean Wiersma

William is a person-of-color artist from Seattle. William has appeared as an actor in several commercials including brands such as T-Mobile, Microsoft and a few clothing brands. William’s dance background includes training in hip-hop, jazz, ballet and contemporary. William has over nine years of performance experience including background dancing for artists such as Ciara, Mila J, Macklemore, Sol and more. Theatre credits include Dreamgirls and Hairspray at Village Theatre. A passionate and determined young man, William is eager to grow as an artist and bring his unique skills to the professional theatre and commercial acting world. May Adrales

May is thrilled to direct In the Heights at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. She has worked nationally, primarily directing new plays, including Qui Nguyen’s award-winning Vietgone (Manhattan Theatre Club, South Coast Repertory, Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Seattle Repertory Theatre). Her work has been seen at Lincoln Center Theater, The Public Theater, Signature Theatre, Second Stage, The Old Globe, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Goodman Theatre, Two River Theater, Portland Center Stage, Cleveland Play House and Syracuse Stage. She proudly serves as an Associate Artistic Director at Milwaukee Repertory Theater. She is a former Director of On-Site Programs at The Lark and Artistic Associate at The Public Theater. She received the 2018 Alan Schneider Director Award, TCG New Generations Grant, Denham Fellowship and Drama League Fellowship. May holds a MFA from the Yale School of Drama. William Carlos Angulo

Dan Kazemi

Dan is a New York-based composer, actor, music director, educator and is an Associate Artist at Milwaukee Repertory Theater. His recent musical director credits for Milwaukee Repertory Theater include The All Night Strut, Murder for Two, Guys and Dolls, Man of La Mancha, Dreamgirls and A Christmas Carol. In Philadelphia, Dan recently musically directed Big Red Sun, See What I Want to See (Barrymore Award nomination), Herringbone (Barrymore Award nomination), and orchestrated and musically directed the world premieres Field Hockey Hot (Barrymore Award nomination), Tulipomania and Opera Philadelphia’s Queens Of The Night. He received Barrymore Awards for 11th Hour’s Avenue X and Lizzie. Dan’s music has been performed at the Cirque de Demain in Paris, Ballet Fleming and in 213 Productions collaborations Untitled Project #213 and Your Attention Please! Dan is also the composer of a new musical, The Tapioca Miracle.

John Tanner

John, a Milwaukee Repertory Theater Associate Artist, is a composer and sound designer. His experience covers a broad range of work in scoring, arranging and music composition for television, documentaries, radio, industrial video and theatre. His original music has won numerous awards, including Golden Reel Awards; Telly Awards; national, regional and local American Advertising Federation Awards; Silver Microphone Awards; and Radio Amateurs of Canada Awards for advertising. John has garnered Gold and Platinum sales certifications for his album engineering work. His projects include scores for NBC, ABC, Lionsgate, PBS and symphony orchestras. David Israel Reynoso

David is a costume, scenic and exhibit designer pleased to be making his Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park debut. He is the Obie Award-winning costume designer for Punchdrunk’s international sensation, Sleep No More (New York and Shanghai), and the creator/director of Optika-Moderna’s innovative Waking La Llorona. He most recently designed The Tempest (starring Kate Burton) and the world premiere of Anna Ziegler’s The Wanderers for The Old Globe, where he previously collaborated with May Adrales on tokyo fish story. David is recognized for his widespread work with regional theatres and dance companies such as La Jolla Playhouse, American Conservatory Theater, American Repertory Theater, Arena Stage, CONTRA-TIEMPO, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, The Gloucester Stage Company and Lyric Stage Company, among others. His scope of work extends beyond theatre to exhibit designs such as PostSecret and Living with Animals for The San Diego Museum of Man. Dale Brown

Dale is delighted to be working with May Adrales again on In the Heights. His recent New York work includes Life Jacket Theatre Co.’s acclaimed production of America Is Hard to See at HERE Art Center and the Drama Desk nominated Daddy Long Legs. Some his other regional credits include Paul Gordon’s musical Sense & Sensibility for Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Disgraced for Syracuse Stage; and The Who and the What and the upcoming production of Things I Know To Be True for Milwaukee Repertory Theater. In collaboration with Duncan Stewart & Co., Dale cast the new musical Nerds for the Philadelphia Theatre Company, the New York City lab production of Maltby and Shire’s new musical Waterfall, and a tour of Kathleen Marshall’s production of Anything Goes. Dale spent over five years with Tara Rubin Casting, maintaining the North American companies of The Phantom of the Opera and Billy Elliot, and worked on the Broadway productions of A Little Night Music, Jesus Christ Superstar, Guys & Dolls and Old Jews Telling Jokes off-Broadway. Michael B. Paul

Regional theatre credits include Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington D.C., Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Guthrie Theater, Alaska Repertory Theatre, The Alliance, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Humana Festival, La Jolla Playhouse, CenterStage in Baltimore, Cleveland Play House and The Arkansas Repertory Theatre. New York credits include Manhattan Theatre Club, James Binder Casting and the Dramatist Guild. Michael lives in Seattle and stage manages for Seattle Repertory Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, The 5th Avenue Theatre, American Conservatory Theater and Intiman Theatre. Michael is pleased to return to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park for the first time after four decades. He was a stage management intern and appeared in The Threepenny Opera in 1977.

Brooke Redler

Brooke is pleased to return for her fourth season with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Her off-Broadway credits include Breathing Time, The Faire and From White Plains (production stage manager, Fault Line Theatre). Regional theatre credits include Million Dollar Quartet, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Summerland and Native Gardens (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park); Hair: Retrospection, Stillwater, The Whipping Man, August: Osage County, Cabaret and five seasons of A Christmas Carol (production stage manager, Kansas City Repertory Theatre); Peter and the Starcatcher and Richard II (Utah Shakespeare Festival); Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Center Stage in Baltimore); and The Drowsy Chaperone, Is He Dead? and Harry the Great (Creede Repertory Theatre). Assistant stage management credits include Our Town, A Flea in Her Ear, Clay, Jitney and Love, Janis (Kansas City Repertory Theatre); and work at Starlight Theatre, Stages St. Louis and Heart of America Shakespeare Festival. Brooke also has worked in opera, with credits including Moscow, Cherry Town and Medea (PSM, Opera Long Beach); and The Coronation of Poppea, Frida, Die Fledermaus and Tosca (ASM, Cincinnati Opera). She also spent two seasons at The Santa Fe Opera.

Andrea is excited to be celebrating her 19th season with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, having worked on more than 90 productions. A highlight of every season for her is stage managing A Christmas Carol. Regionally, she stage managed The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead (Dallas Theater Center); Ace (The Old Globe); Lost Prospect (Ingenuity Festival of Cleveland); A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Nutcracker (Cincinnati Ballet); and Snow White and Beauty and the Beast (Cincinnati Ballet’s Otto M.
